The In The Dark series premiered on American television in April 2019 and is about to return for its second season, released by The CW.

To promote the novelty, the broadcaster released last Friday, April 3, the first official trailer for the new episodes of the series.

Check out the video below:

The video also discloses the long synopsis for the second season:

In the second season of IN THE DARK, Murphy (Perry Mattfeld) is a twenty-something mess who struggles daily to balance his random connections, hangovers and drug addiction. She is also blind. Murphy lives with his best friend, Jess (Brooke Markham), and together with his anal-retainer (and sometimes friend) boss, Felix (Morgan Krantz), they run Guiding Hope, a guide dog school. But resolving the murder of her best friend, Tyson, takes Murphy to the depths of Chicago’s underground heroin world when she is forced to turn Guiding Hope into a front for drug kingpin Nia Bailey (guest star Nicki Micheaux).

In addition to avoiding Dean (Rich Sommer), Murphy and Guiding Hope encounter a new problem when increasing revenue piques the interest of an IRS agent (Theodore Bhat). With the help of Darnell (Keston John), Murphy tries to fight against herself and everyone she cares about Nia’s reach, but finally plunges them into much deeper problems than they expected.
