On Thursday, May 28, the final episode of Hospital Playlist, a South Korean drama with worldwide distribution on Netflix that gave its twelve episodes full of strong emotions.
However, fans can already celebrate: the second season is more than confirmed and will hit Korean television (and the rest of the world via Netflix) in 2021.
The main cast is expected to return, with Jo Jungsuk like Lee Ikjung (general surgery), Yoo Yenseok like Ahn Jungwon (pediatrician), Jung Kyungho like Kim Junwan (cardiothoracic surgery), Kim Daemyung like Yang Sukhyung (gynecologist) and Jeon Mido like Chae Songhwa (neurosurgeon),

Described by many as a Korean Grey’s Anatomy, such its quality, the plot has been with five friends since college and who now work together at Yulje Medical Center, a large hospital in the capital of South Korea.
Despite the complicated routine, full of appointments and surgeries, friends still find time to have fun with their band, which recalls the greatest hits of Korean music in the late 90s and early 2000s. Novels are also beginning to emerge.
No further details have yet been released on the second season of Hospital Playlist, but more information is expected to start coming out early next year.
