It is not always that Hayden Christensen appears in the media to remember the time when Anakin Skywalker lived in theaters. The star of the criticized prequel to the Star Wars trilogy suffered from the fandom’s wrath from the original saga that detested episodes I, II and III, and hatred continues for the new actors in episodes VII, VIII and IX.
Knowing what happened to Kelly Marie Tran recently, a victim of online harassment and bullying by Star Wars fans to the point of abandoning social media, Christensen reveals some “advice” to ET Canada:
“I don’t know if I have any advice for this, just don’t take it too seriously, because unfortunately the bulldozers are the ones who make the most noise. But most people don’t feel that way, so keep that in mind.”
At the time Hayden was attacked, social media did not exist, but that did not prevent him from receiving similar treatment, as did Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks, who recently revealed that he considered suicide, such bullying suffered by the films. Jake Lloyd, who played the younger version Anakin Skywalker was also a victim.
The next Star Wars movie will have Kelly Marie Tran returning to her character Rose Tico, whose premiere is set for December 2019, still without an official title and in the recording phase.
