Marvel Comics recently announced that it will launch a new magazine with the Guardians of the Galaxy team formed in the Marvel films. The publication that will mark the comeback of the team in the comics will be launched soon in the USA.

Before the premiere, the last edition that maintains the current formation in the comics will count on the participation of the villain Thanos and a great fight on Earth. Issue # 19 will mark the departure of screenwriter Brian Michael Bendis, responsible for publishing the Guardians of the Galaxy magazine since the film’s success in theaters.

Guardians of the Galaxy # 19 will be released in the U.S. in April.

Guardians of the Galaxy returns to Marvel Comics publications with a new lineup. Considered the formation that enshrined the team with the release of the first film in theaters, Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax return. The magazine of the characters will undergo a relaunch and should not have members of the training that was being used by the publisher, which had Coisa and Kitty Pride.

All-New Guardians of the Galaxy will feature screenplays by Gerry Duggan and art by Aaron Kuder. The magazine will no longer have the scripts by Brian Michael Bendis and art by Valerio Schiti after four years.

The same lineup that will be seen in theaters also features an animated series that was made official after the resounding success of the first live-action film by the Marvel galactic team. The animation that featured a first season aired between 2015 and 2016 has already won the renewal for its second. The first season served as a continuation for the first film, as it starts exactly where the film ended and features Thanos as the great villain.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, will feature the return of Chris Pratt (Star Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Michael Rooker (Yondu) and Karen Gillan (Nebula).

The film is scheduled to premiere in Brazilian theaters on April 27, 2017.
