THE Globoplay, streaming service Rede Globo, announced new productions in its catalog.
Dramas arrive in Brazil, exclusively on platforms Manifest and The Village, news from the last American season.
Manifest it revolves around a group of passengers and the crew of a commercial plane that suddenly reappears after being presumed dead for five years.
Already The Village, accompanies a group of condo residents in New York as their lives intertwine.
The streaming service also announced that it will handle the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale and the new (and unprecedented!) year of Killing Eve.
The production Iron Island, with Cauã Reymond and Therapy session with Selton Mello new seasons will also be available in the catalog.
Globoplay also announced its new national productions Aruanas, starring the actresses Leandra Leal, Taís Araujo, Thainá Duarte, Débora Falabella, and Camila Pitanga who will accompany four women who will fight an environmental disaster.
Thus, lawyer Verônica (Taís Araújo), journalist Natalie (Débora Falabella), activist Luiza (Leandra Leal) and intern Clara (Thainá Duarte) and the NGO Aruana will come together to face this serious problem, the population’s silence local, the charisma of the president of a mega corporation and its unwavering prestige, since after all, practically, KM sustains the economy of the place.
The second production announced is the comedy Shippados with actors and comedians Tatá Werneck and Eduardo Sterblicth in the main cast.
In the plot, we will follow Rita (Tatá Werneck) and Enzo (Eduardo Sterblicth) that are connected all the time. The cell phone is almost an extension of the body itself, but the dating app didn’t give match in the couple. It was in a bar, in the old-fashioned way, that the eyes met. This apparent contradiction between the contemporary and the vintage also permeates the contrast between the narrative of Shippados and the visual identity of the series.
