THE Ubisoft announced yesterday Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the sequence of Ghost Recon Wildlands in a live stream through your official channels. The game, like its predecessor, will have solo mode and co-op mode with up to four players and will take place on the island of Auroa, in the Pacific Ocean.
The fictional island serves as the home and research complex for billionaire Jace Skell’s owner of Skell Technology. The archipelago enters the US government’s radar when they detect unusual activities for the region, causing Agent Nomad to be sent to investigate the island. But during the reconnaissance mission, Nomad’s helicopter and his team are shot down. Wounded and alone, Nomad must survive in this hostile environment, where he is now the prey and not the hunter.
Trapped on this immense island with dense forests, mountains and even an active volcano, Nomad discovers that an old companion is also there, but he aims to eliminate him, since he has become a traitor, his name: Cole D. Walker. Nomad met him during Operation Oracle when he was still in Colombia.
Now the traitor leads a team of ex-soldiers and mercenaries who have taken over the island of Auroa. These enemies are extremely dangerous, as they have the same training as you and thanks to the technological complex on the island, they can produce drones and other equipment capable of exterminating anyone who crosses their path.
In Ghost Recon Breakpoint you’re going to have to use the environment to your advantage. The game is more immersive and abuses the concept of survival. One of the novelties is the possibility of using mud to camouflage and go unnoticed or have to deal with adversities such as exhaustion and injuries that may require you to stop to treat them. And these are small examples of the many new features in gameplay that aim to make the experience even more realistic and immersive.
Watching the presentation, it is clear that everyone who enjoyed the experience Ghost Recon Wildlands offered will feel at home. I also felt that several formulas that are in the The Division 2, were kind of taken advantage of in Ghost Recon Breakpoint which is not a bad thing.
As for the PVP mode, it will be available as soon as the game comes out, but nothing very deep has been revealed to us, which leads me to believe that we will see a lot of familiarity in the PVP mode of Ghost Recon Wildlands in this new sequence. It is worth saying that the map in my view would work perfectly for a battle royale mode. Even during the live, a question arose about this possibility that was not denied, much less confirmed, it was only replied that initially a BR mode is not part of the developers’ plans.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that more news about the game will be revealed in the coming months, so we can only wait.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint arrives in the day October 4th for Playstation 4, Xbox one and PRAÇA.
