The long-awaited sequel to Frozen (2013) hit theaters in the United States on November 22, 2019, but Brazilian fans will have to settle for a slightly longer wait for the film’s premiere in Brazil, but the days of struggle finally have come to an end: Frozen 2 will appear in national cinemas this Thursday, January 2nd, 2020.

The film brings Queen Elsa back to the center of the narrative, now on an even more dangerous new adventure: as she learns to master her powers, a threat approaches her kingdom and she will need a lot of strength and courage to keep those who love. Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven will join her on this long-awaited journey.

The film features voices from Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Josh Gad in the original version, which arrives in Brazil dubbed by Taryn Szpilman (Elsa), Érika Menezes (Anna) and and Fábio Porchat (Olaf).

Even before its debut in Brazil and several other countries, Frozen 2 has grossed $ 1.16 billion worldwide and has become the third largest box office of 2019, behind only Avengers: Endgame and The Lion King, all from Disney .

Premiering today in Brazilian cinemas, the film continues to run indefinitely.
