Jojo Rabbit | Review
The direction and script is with Waititi, based on the book Caging Skies in Christine Leunens.
Director and screenwriter Taika Waititi brings his style of humor to his latest film, Jojo Rabbit, a World War II satire that accompanies a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo). Jojo’s worldview turns upside down when he finds out that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish woman (Thomasin McKenzie) in her attic. With help only from his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
