In an epic partnership between Fortnite and Marvel, the popular online game has just received an unusual event inspired by Avengers: Endgame, to celebrate the launch of the long-awaited fourth film in the franchise, which hits theaters on Thursday (25) Brazilians.

In the game, Endgame mode was made available today in which players are divided between the team of villains, being able to fight alongside Thanos and his army, and the team of heroes, who must defeat him. The two teams aim to bring together the six Infinity Stones: the heroes must prevent them from getting into the wrong hands of the opposing team, while the villains collect them for Thanos.

In addition, each jewel obtained guarantees extra powers, such as higher jumps, more powerful damage and increased health of the character. Check out the short video released to promote the special event:

Other references to the Avengers were also added, such as Captain America’s shield and Hawkeye’s bow and arrow spread across the map with other items from the heroes, as well as a skin inspired by the Black Widow, as seen in the image below:

The game is free and the event will be available from today, April 25, available for PC, XBOX, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.

The movie Avengers: Endgame is also already in theaters.
