Escape 60 opens first Xtreme room in Rio de Janeiro

As of June 15, Rio de Janeiro gains a new mode of escape game: the Escape 60 Xtreme. With the presence of actors in the room and various environments, the sport, which is already a success in the capital of São Paulo, reaches the lands of Rio at the Copacabana unit – Shopping Cassino Atlântico.

The room is based on mysteries about the worst nuclear disaster in history, Chernobyl. Participants have 60 minutes to escape a scenario that is pure science, where puzzles and challenges must be solved. In the narrative, the players are part of a team of global nuclear radiation researchers and must solve the mysteries behind the experiments around Chernobyl, including the mysterious fate of Dr. Alexei Pasternak’s team. Always remembering that, even if stable, the area is of intense radiation and staying in it for more than 60 minutes can cause irreparable damage.

Unlike the conventional escape game model, in which players only need to crack codes and solve puzzles to escape, Xtreme offers an even more exciting immersion experience that takes players to test their limits and overcome their fears, while trying to figure out how to escape the room.

To participate, it is necessary to be from 12 years old and be in a group of at least four participants and at most eight. Tickets are sold exclusively through the website, via PagSeguro.
