Anime and drama fans (Japanese series) can already celebrate: it has been confirmed that Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, or Erased, Kei Sanbe’s manga that gave rise to the eponymous animation and the live-action production launched by Netflix in 2017, will be published in Brazil in Japanese comic book format later this month.
The launch by the publisher JBC, responsible for other popular titles such as Sailor Moon, Your Name and Boku no Hero Academia, is expected to happen between the 6th and 9th of December, at the publisher’s booth at CCXP18, in São Paulo.
The initial three volumes will be released simultaneously during the event, with an expected price of R $ 23.90. The remaining volumes will be published later, until completing the saga in its eighth and last edition, in addition to a special, Erased: Re, which will also be published.
In Brazil, Erased became popular after the launch of the series signed by Netflix. In the story, regardless of the format in which it is presented, we met Satoru, a young man in his 20s who has the uncontrollable ability to go back a few minutes in time to avoid tragedies, such as accidents and deaths. His dream is to be a big mangaka, but now he has to deal with his mother’s murder and ends up returning 18 years old, when he was still a school child. What will he need to avoid so many years before to save his mother?
