Editora Planeta launches the first official books in the universe of O Cristal Encantado

THE Publisher Planeta launches through the Minotauro collection The Shadows of the Enchanted Crystal and The Song of the Enchanted Crystal, the first official books in the universe of The Enchanted Crystal, classic of the 1980s fantasy cinema, created by Jim Henson, which will become a series of Netflix with a premiere date set for next Friday (30). Written by JM Lee, one of the members of the series’ writing team, the books tell a story that precedes the events of the film.

In The Shadows of the Enchanted Crystal, a young Gelfling leaves her home on the edge of the world to discover the mystery of the disappearance of her brother, accused of high treason by the sinister lord of the Skeksis.

Already in The Song of the Enchanted Crystal, the sequel to the book, Sami Thicket’s Kylan is a skilled song counter. However, only songs in honor of the great heroes of the past will not be enough to help your friends on a dangerous journey through unknown lands.

After revealing the terrible betrayal of the Skeksis lords, Kylan and Naia must flee if they are to survive. Although he cannot count on the support of the Gelflings themselves, Kylan knows that the truth must always be told, whatever the cost.
