What is Cleidocranial Dysplasia?
Cleidocranial dysplasia is a very rare disease that causes genetic and hereditary malformation resulting in not even a delay in the development of the bones of the skull and the shoulder region while the carrier of the disease is still growing.
The symptoms involve delayed closing of the baby’s molars, protruding chin and forehead, wider than normal nose, absent collarbones, narrow shoulders, in addition to delayed tooth growth.
