Brother Bear is a popular Walt Disney animated film, released in 2003. In the wake of remakes and live-actions, the studio has even worked with films starring animals such as Dumbo, The Lion King and The Lady and the Tramp, which have gained new versions recently, and it looks like Brother Bear will be next on the list.
The news comes from the We Got This Covered portal, which has already revealed a lot of accurate information about Disney productions in advance, and is therefore a reliable source for fans.
According to the website, the same sources who told them about the Aladdin sequel a few weeks before the official announcement revealed that a new version of the 2003 film is being discussed.
The original film tells the story of Kenai, a young man who hunts the bear responsible for the death of his brother. Upon killing the animal, it ends up turning into a bear as punishment. To return to his human form, he needs to complete a difficult mission alongside a small cub that will guide him to the mountain where the lights touch the earth.
Without confirmation of the live-action, not much is known about the likely film. Meanwhile, fans expect the return of Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) in the dubbing of the feature.
