The panel Disney at D23, its Comic-Con style convention, which brings together all the Disney conglomerate brands as Disney live-action, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Star Wars, and now 20th Century FOX, brought us a lot of news.

The panel began with the announcement that the 20th Century FOX will not be part of today’s event. So, no news from Ford V. Ferrari, An Animal Spy, or King’s man: The origin, is the new Avatar.

Even though a new Avatar franchise logo was presented by executive Alan Horn to the public at the event, Disney did not officially share it on its social media channels.

So Disney started their panel with executive Kathleen Kennedy, and director JJ Abrams to talk about Star Wars: The Rise Skywalker.


The cast formed by the actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Keri Russel, Oscar Issac, Joonas Sutomo, and Kelly Marie Tran they were also on stage to talk a little about the film.

The actress Keri Russell described his character in the film as “A type of criminal, very cool, and also quite out of place. She is an old friend of Poe’s. ”


A behind-the-scenes video of the film was shown at the event, and the Discussing Film website stated that Disney will release the online version on Monday, 26!

Now we leave for the turn of the Marvel Studios, with President Kevin Feige on stage to talk about upcoming releases.

The first is Black Panther II with Ryan Coogler on stage.

The film gets a release date of May 6, 2022. Coogler has just finished the script, which has no official title.


The next Marvel Studios movie cited was The Eternals where we had some confirmation from the cast.

The actress Gemma Chan, which was escalated a few weeks ago, will be Sersi in the film d ‘The Eternals. The actor Kit Harington, in Game of Thrones, it will be Black Knight.

The next film commented on at the event was Mulan.

Director Niki Caro stated that “Mulan’s journey represents us all. The story is as inspiring today as it was 1500 years ago when it was written. ”

A teaser with unpublished scenes has been released, but it is not expected to go online for now.

Continuing the live-action part, the first image of the actress was released Emma Stone like the dreaded villain Cruella Devill.

Disney confirmed the cast of the film Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry.

Cruella will tell the origins of the iconic character and arrives at a new date in theaters, May 28, 2021.

Pixar also took the actors to the stage of the D23 Expo Tom Holland and Chris Pratt to talk about animation Two Brothers – A Fantastic Journey which hits theaters in March 2020.

Disney / Pixar announce new animation called Raya And The Last Dragon.

The film is expected to hit American theaters in November 2020 with production of Dean Wellins and Paul Briggs.

The animation will be a mix of classic Disney animation with the old Disney films Kung Fu. The plot will take place in a country called Kumandra, where the region is divided into five sessions. Raya will be a warrior who will go on a mission to find the last dragon in the world.

Cassie Steele will give the voice to the warrior Raya, and the actress Awkwafina for the lost dragon.

One of the most anticipated moments of the panel Frozen 2!

The producer Jennifer Lee stated on stage that the big question that Frozen 2 will do is “What is the reason why Elsa has her powers?” and that the sequence will, together with the first film, complete a single one.

Evan Rachel Wood confirmed in the cast of original voice actors as Anna and Elsa’s mother in the film, Queen Iduna. Already Sterling K Brown confirmed in the cast of Frozen 2 like Lieutenant Mattias!
