Cobie Smulders conquered the world with his performance as Robin Scherbatsky on the television series How I Met Your Mother. Those who watched the production will surely remember Robin Sparkles, the stage name that the character took on during her teenage years as a Canadian youth pop singer.

Let’s Go To The Mall is the most popular of his songs, which Robin was very ashamed of as a teenager, but it seems that Cobie Smulders loves it. So much so that he recorded a video singing the song!

Check out the performance below, including the piano:

In the video caption, the actress says:

“Let’s stay at home

Good.

Here it is. I hope it takes your mind off some things. It certainly was that way for me!
A huge thanks to Craig Thomas and Carter Bays for the new lyrics.

And for Brian Kim, who helped write many of our songs. He wrote this new version for piano and rewrote it when it was very challenging for me.
It was a wonderful trip down memory lane.
