Another must-see attraction for all families hits the screens of Cinemark: Irmão do Jorel – Amazing Special Edition. In partnership with the channel cartoon Network, the Network will exclusively display a special design, created by Julian Enrico, in a single plot that looks like a movie, but is not. The exhibition tells the story of the friendship between Lara and Irmão do Jorel, mixing existing contents, unpublished and extras made especially for cinema. The sessions – two a day – are scheduled for March 23 and 24, in 30 complexes. Tickets are now available on the website and at the box office.
The special is part of the expansion of the project Cine Cartoon, which will bring to theaters across Brazil a regular schedule of unpublished content from the channel’s most beloved properties. The partnership with Rede Cinemark promises to bring three more shows to the big screen in 2019.
On television since 2014, Brazilian animation Brother of Jorel already has three seasons co-produced by Cartoon Network and the Copa Studios. Jorel’s brother is the youngest son of an eccentric family of accumulators. With the help of his best friend Lara, he faces life’s first obstacles at a breakneck and fun pace. Always doing everything to not be overshadowed by the popularity of his older brother, the protagonist never has his name revealed.
The special will be shown in cinemas in Belo Horizonte (BH Shopping and Pátio Savassi), Brasília (Iguatemi Brasília and Pier 21), Campinas (Iguatemi Campinas), Campo Grande (Shopping Campo Grande), Curitiba (Shopping Mueller), Florianópolis (Floripa Shopping) ), Guarulhos (Internacional Shopping), Natal (Midway Mall), Niterói (Plaza Shopping), Porto Alegre (Barra Shopping Sul), Recife (RioMar), Rio de Janeiro (Botafogo Praia Shopping, Carioca Shopping and Downtown), Salvador (Salvador Shopping), São Caetano (ParkShopping), São José dos Campos (Colinas Shopping), São Paulo (Aricanduva, Central Plaza, Mooca Plaza Shopping, Eldorado, Market Place, Santa Cruz Metro, Pátio Higienópolis, Pátio Paulista, SP Market and Villa Lobos ) and Vitória (Shopping Vitória).
