On the last day of CinemaCon 2019, a Paramount Pictures took his news to the stage there in Las Vegas.
Moments before the panel started, the studio released the films that would be part of the presentation line-up: Rocketman, Dora and the Lost City, Terminator: Dark Fate (which will be released in Brazil by FOX Film), the long-awaited Sonic, and the drama Gemini Man.
On stage were the executives Kyle Davies, Distribution and Paramount’s CEO, Jim Gianopulos, which showed guests new and unprecedented scenes of Rocketman.
On stage were also the actor Taron Egerton, who plays Elton John, and the director Dexter Fletch, who called the film “A challenge, but a very exciting challenge”.
Egerton stated that “Rocketman, tells a very human story, but it is also a fun production and a celebration for the legendary Elton John.”
The next film that those present could check out was terror Crawl that has direction Sam Raimi. In the cast we have the actors Kaya Scodelario and Barry Pepper. Read more here.
Then it was time for Dora and the Lost City gain prominence on the studio panel, on stage we had the actors Eva Longoria, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña and Isabela Moner.
Peña, who plays Dora’s father, commented “Being part of this story and the cast with such a Latin focus was absolutely fantastic.”
Moner, the protagonist, commented “I loved making every second of this energetic, adventurous and fearless character” is that “Doing this with a cast that looked like a big family was an unforgettable experience.”
Moner also confirmed to the Fandango website that the character will indeed break the fourth wall and will ask questions to the audience throughout the film.
Paramount Pictures CEO Jim Gianopulos returned to the stage and immediately announced Terminator: Dark Fate. The executive confirmed that the film will take place after Terminator 2 and stated that the feature “It is a return to the intensity and sense of grandeur that captured the public’s attention and imagination decades ago.”
Tim Miller, director of this new film, said that T2: Judgment Day is one of his favorite films and that working with the legendary original cast was “Very exciting” together with the new group of young talent.
Together with the director, the actors were on stage Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The movie trailer was shown there. Recalling that the film will be released by Fox Film in Brazil.
Next came the comedy Limited Partnerswith the actresses Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne Salma Hayek. Read more about the movie here.
According to the presentation, the film “A hilarious story about what happens when best friends mix business and friendships together to create a company.”
The long-awaited Sonic movie, Sonic The Hedgehog it was the next film to be presented on stage.
The actors James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey were there to comment a little on the film and present the first scenes of the film.
Second Erik Davis, Fandango website, two videos were presented, one that effectively presents the character of the Sonic, which appears to be a treatise as a kind of alien. According to reports, the video shows Sonic running by Tom Wachowski (Mardsen) who chases him for a while, for being at a high speed.
Sonic claims he is on Earth to save the planet, the policeman hits Sonic with a dart and puts him in a backpack and goes to the police station.
And another one that presents the villain, the Dr. Robotnik, where, according to reports, on the scene, the army meets with the character.

One of the big bets of Paramount Pictures for 2019 is the movie Gemini Man, with direction Ang Lee.
The feature will feature special effects, where we will have a younger version of Will Smith opposite the current one. In the film, one version of the character is sent to kill the other, the young version states in the scene “They made you because of me.”
In the cast we have Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen, Benedict Wong and Douglas Hodge.
Finally, Paramount Pictures announced its next films for 2020 onwards with: A Quiet Place 2, a new live-action from GI Joe, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Coming to America 2 and TopGun – Maverick.
