YouTuber Jamie Stangroom recently received on his channel the child actor Temirlan Blaev, known for playing the nickname Broom Boy, a character who had a small but interesting participation in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, implying that there are still children sensitive to the Force around.

During the interview, the young actor revealed how he felt about the role and the reception of the audience:

“I think it was unexpected, but everyone’s reaction said, ‘Who is this boy? What can that mean? Is he the next Jedi? Who is he?’ I think it brought a lot of talk about who my character really was. After reading the script, I kind of understood that he was sensitive to the Force. I thought to myself that it could mean something about my character. “

Blaev further admitted that he thought he would have a role in The Rise of Skywalker, perhaps as an apprentice to Rey, from Daisy Ridley, but that didn’t happen. Still.

When asked if he would like to reprise the role to continue the Broom Boy story, Blaev concluded: “Yes, I would accept that”.

Watch the full interview, in English:

“Temirlan Blaev is the boy behind the most famous cleaning machine user in the Star Wars canon, the Boy on the Broom! In this interview, I talk to him about how he got the part, his memories of being on set and if he thinks the character might come back one day. Temirlan was 7 when he appeared in Star Wars: The Last Jedi (his first role as an actor) and now at 12 he recently appeared in episode 3 of the third season of Killing Eve. ” video description.
