Captain Marvel’s character descriptions and their connection to the main character came out.
Jude Law (Starforce Commander): The military leader is deeply Kree, but he has a vulnerability in Carol’s human part. “He recognizes her as someone very special and also a great attribute to Kree warriors,” said Law.
Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva): “Before Carol joined the team, Minn-Erva was the star of Starforce,” Chan says of his sniper Kree. “She feels a little threatened by someone who has just arrived and is also very talented.”
Djimon Hounsou (Korath): Before finding his end in Guardians, Kree is a decorated member of Starforce. “He’s still a machine with no sense of humor,” explains Hounsou. “But we found him in his childhood.”
Lee Pace (Ronan the Accuser): The blue villain of Guardians of the Galaxy is back, but he has not yet become the outlaw and radical Kree who aligns with Thanos.
Ben Mendelsohn (Talos): Mendelsohn has played several villains, but here he is both the nefarious leader Skrull and the human he imitates. As the actor says, “It is not easy to be green”.
Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury): Jackson describes the young SHIELD agent as “a powerful government agent”, who has yet to meet any superheroes.
Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson): The SHIELD rookie is starting his career. Remember when Coulson tells Tony that it wasn’t his first rodeo? “This could be the rodeo,” says Gregg.
Lashana Lynch (Maria “Photon” Rambeau): Carol’s closest friend is an air force pilot and a single mother. “Maria has an undeniable strength that you don’t feel you need to help her with,” says Lynch.
