In an interview with EW magazine, the director Josh Boone gave details of what to expect from the long-awaited new film in the franchise X-Men.

Boone confirmed that the script he and Knate Lee wrote will have a “beautiful love story” for the characters Rahne Sinclair, the Lupine (Maisie Williams) and Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt).
He claims “is kind of the backbone of our film, and the focus of some of our characters’ plots“.
The feature also won a new commercial with unpublished scenes.
The New Mutants have director direction Josh Boone and is described as a horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants live and are monitored. When strange events start to happen, their new mutant abilities and friendships will be tested as they struggle to make it out alive.
They are in the film directed by Boone, Maisie Williams (game of Thrones) like Lupina, the Brazilian Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) such as Sunspot, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) like Missile, Anya Taylor-Joy(Atlantis) like Magic, Blu Hunt (The Originals) like Danielle Moonstar and Alice Braga (The Queen of the South / Queen of the South) as Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
The New Mutants now arrives in April 2020.
