Netflix promised and delivered: after announcing the folks at La Casa de Papel and Esquadrio 6 as the guests for its 2019 panel and a surprise that would only be revealed on December 8, star Henry Cavill takes the stage to talk about his newest project, The Witcher series, alongside executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
The series panel was broadcast live on YouTube and Netflix social networks, for fans around the world to follow the news of the production. However, videos shown during the event, such as scenes from the plot and the new trailer for The Witcher, were exclusive to fans present at CCXP, with a vetoed display on the internet.
In an interview led by Aline Diniz, the guests commented on what it was like to work on this new project, highlighting the fantastic and dramatic appeal of the plot. The producer also says that the series will bring great female representation, with three-dimensional characters that will make the audience identify, but that it will also be a bloody and violent series, as the audience expects.
The production is inspired by the books of Andrzej Sapkowski, and the first season will be released on December 20, 2019 by Netflix.
