THE Paramount Pictures released the subtitled version of the cast presentation video for GI Joe Origins: Snake Eyes!
Last week, part of the cast and production was at Tokyo’s Hie-Jinja Shrine to celebrate the start of filming.
At a press conference they talked about the expectation with the film.
The actors were present Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Haruka Abe, Iko Uwais and Takehiro Hira; the director Robert Schwentke; executive producers Jeff Waxman and Erik Howsam; and the stunt coordinator Kenji Tanigaki.
The new film will feature Snake Eyes, a masked ninja, who wears all black, and never reveals his face or talks a lot during missions. Snake Eyes has as its main antagonist, Storm Shadow, a ninja who is his mortal enemy, and whom the character considered as a brother.
In the plot of the film, Shadow works for the villain, Cobra, a deadly enemy of GI Joe.
Samara Weaving and Ursula Corberó are also in the cast.
Robert Schwentke gets the direction. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner produce.
GI Joe Origins: Snake Eyes arrives on October 23, 2020.
