Animation fans can now celebrate!
THE cartoon Network is confirmed presence in CCXP19 with Owen Dennis, creator of the new channel series, Infinite Train. The largest pop culture event on the planet receives the North American in Cinemark XD Auditorium on Friday, December 6, at 1 pm, for a relaxed and fun mega chat.
For the first time in Brazil, Owen Dennis will talk about the development and creative process of his own animation series. Full of supernatural adventures, Infinite Train has as main character Tulip, a young programmer who gets trapped inside a mysterious train and full of dangerous challenges – where nothing is what it seems.
With a number in his hands, Tulip runs to unravel the mysteries that lurk around the train alongside One-One, a robot with a peculiar personality who is in search of his mother, and Atticus, the adorable king of Corginia. In this adventure, the trio will need to use all their creativity to face escaping from each car, facing puzzles and discovering each of the secrets that are being transported.
The series had its debut in Latin America in August, with a subtitled version. But, starting in November, Cartoon Network shows new episodes of the series, now in the dubbed version in Portuguese and Spanish, in Brazil and throughout Latin America, respectively.
A graduate in animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minnesota, Owen spent three years in China. When he returned to the United States, he participated in a storyboard test on Cartoon Network and soon became a screenwriter and storyboarder in the hit series Just a show, where he stayed for four seasons and a movie.
In 2018, the festival received 262 thousand visitors, setting a record attendance and establishing itself once again as the largest pop culture festival in the world. CCXP is already part of the country’s cultural calendar and this year it will take place between December 5th and 8th, at São Paulo Expo. Learn more at www.ccxp.com.br.
