THE Amazon Prime Video announced that the drama Carnival Row, with Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, has already been renewed for a second season.
The production opens on August 30, but Amazon’s streaming service has already confirmed that the production of the new episodes is under development.
Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Delevingne (Suicide squad) star Carnival Row, a series set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with immigrant mythological creatures, whose exotic lands have been invaded by empires of man. Forbidden to live, love and fly with freedom, this growing population struggles to coexist with human beings.
But even in the dark, hope survives when a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom), and a refugee fairy named Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne), rekindle a dangerous, loving relationship despite an increasingly intolerant society. Vignette keeps a secret that puts Philo’s world in danger during his most important case yet: a series of horrific murders that threatens Row’s restless peace.
