Actress Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in the cinema, spoke about her character and seems extremely excited about the work.

“What happened was that I met with Marvel and they said that I wanted to make a great feminist film. I remember going home and being in doubt about doing it, because it was everything I ever dreamed of in life. I know my limitations. I know I’m just a white girl, and I’m doing everything I can with my body. I grew up and realized that these Marvel films have a lot of meaning. You can have great fun, but also find several deep philosophical questions. It is a powerful combination. ”
“Doing something fun and capable of making people reflect around the world? It was crazy … The opportunity came and I decided to make the film. I love this character. I love that she does not apologize for her strength, that she does not try to diminish herself for who she is, she cannot become someone else even if she wanted to. It is as if it cannot be contained and that is something beautiful. ”

The actress also commented on the bodywork to live the heroine “I didn’t know what it was to be strong. I was an introvert with asthma before the movie so I had to work hard until I fell in love with it. I fell in love with the way my body was changing … It was the first time I made my body work for me. In the past, I wanted my body to never be the topic of conversation. It was an objectification. I wanted to be a brain. Just reading books and understanding words, anything involving my body bothered me. This was an opportunity to make my body really mine. ”
