Bill & Ted: Face the Music wins first official trailer;  watch

Bill & Ted: Face the Music is the newest film in the franchise starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter and had its first official trailer released on Tuesday (9).

The trailer showed the inseparable friends, already in their 50s, on a journey to create a song necessary to save reality. This time, they will have a little help from their daughters, Billie and Thea, but they will still have to travel back in time to resolve the issue.

“The stakes have never been higher for the time travel of the now best middle aged friends, who will have to venture out to discover the song that will bring harmony to the universe. They will have the help of their daughters (played by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine), a new wave of historical figures and some music legends. ”

The film is directed by Dean Parisot and the script is by Chris Metheson and Ed Solomon, who also wrote the story of the two previous films.

If there is no postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bill & Ted: Face the Music is scheduled to debut in late August.

The Bill & Ted franchise was launched in 1989 and is starred by friends Bill S. Preston and Ted Theodore Logan, two sloppy rockers who need to travel back in time to avoid a series of dire events in the future.
