On September 7, Brazil’s Independence Day holiday, the event takes place in Belo Horizonte Independence or death, at the Black Ink Studio Visual Arts School. The free event will have many activities open to the public related to independent art production such as workshops and a live model session. There will also be a fair with independent artists from Minas Gerais selling their copyrighted works.
The event’s activities include attractions for all audiences, from children to adults and also those who do not yet know the world of visual arts. “The idea is to present to give the public the opportunity to know more about the independent market of comics and visual arts. We want to encourage people from Belo Horizonte to see, know and be more involved with this type of production“, highlights Régis Luiz, one of the directors of Black Ink Studio.
Estúdio Black ink is a company in the field of visual arts, focused on the authorial production of illustration, comics, graphic design and meeting market demands. It focuses on combining the visual arts with knowledge and research, giving courses, lectures and workshops with professionals from the studio and guests.
The space is located at Avenida Francisco Sales, 531, in the Floresta neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte. The event takes place from 10am to 6pm.
