Netflix released this week its latest project with the Obama family, Becoming. The new documentary film will show the former first lady backstage on the tour to launch her book, My story, which passed through 34 cities.
Barack and Michelle Obama manage Higher Ground Productions, which in 2018 signed a contract for the production of several projects by Netflix and the first of them, American Factory, even won the Oscar for Best Documentary.
Becoming is directed by Nadia Hallgren and opens on May 6 on the streaming platform.

The book My story is released in Brazil by the publisher Companhia das Letras and has an audiobook edition narrated by journalist Maju Coutinho.
