Bambi was a popular Disney animated film, originally released in 1942. In the era of remakes, the film was not left out of the list of projects to receive a live-action version, and the Variety portal states that Casa dos Ratos has already gave the green light for the production of the remake to begin.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Lindsey Beer (Sierra Burgess is a Loser) are responsible for the script, while the production is signed by Chris and Paul Weitz.
The film will follow the same style as Mogli – O Menino Lobo (2016) and O Leão Leão (2019), with photo-realistic CGI. As for the plot, the story of the young fawn who has to deal with the death of his mother and the dangers posed by a hunter in the woods is repeated. The little creature ventures alongside his new friends, the Tambor rabbit and the possum Flor.
