Avengers: Ultimatum goes down in history and Marvel proves, once again, that this is the era of superheroes in theaters.

After much anxiety for the release of the long-awaited film that promises to end the first phase of the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has been minutely worked since 2008 with the debut of Iron Man, the feature film is finally on display in the cinemas and has broken numerous records.

With only one week running, the film already holds the position of fifth best box office in the world history of cinema: according to data released by Box Office Mojo, the film has raised US $ 1.785 billion to date at the global box office, second only to Avatar. (2009), Titanic (1997), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and his own older brother, Avengers: Infinity War (2018), which ranks fourth with just over $ 2 billion total.

In addition to these achievements, Ultimato was the fastest film to secure a billion dollars, with only five days in the works. Today reaching its tenth day of release, the number is almost doubled and the forecast is that it will continue to grow even more in the coming weeks, possibly surpassing Infinity War and even Star Wars.

In the plot, the universe is suffering from the loss of 50% of its living beings after the fatal attack of Thanos, who rose to power. The surviving Avengers, accompanied by Rocket and Nebula, by Guardians of the Galaxy, will join Captain Marvel for the most epic battle for the restoration of universal security.
