Animated series project, based on the movie Gremlins, should arrive on WarnerMedia's streaming service!

With the WarnerMedia planning to launch its own streaming service, along the lines of Disney +, the first original designs begin to appear.

According to the magazine’s website Variety, The Warner plans to launch an animated series based on the 1980s movie on the platform, Gremlins.

The project should accompany the character of actor Keye Luke, the Chinese grandfather, younger Mr. Wing, where we will see him go on an adventure when he meets a friendly Mogwai named Gizmo.

The series will be based on the 1984 film, where we have a young man, break three super important rules for the creation of your new pet and thus, release a group of little monsters called Gremilins, in the small town he lives in.

With direction Joe Dante and script of Chris Columbs, Gremlins had in the cast the actors Hoyt Axton, John Louie, Don Steele, Corey Feldman and Scott Brady.

The production will be led by WB TV and producer Amblin who produced the film franchise.

It is not certain whether the pilot will win a serial order or when the platform will debut.
