America Chavez, the Miss America of comics, can show up in Doctor Strange 2!

News for the film Doctor Strange 2!

According to the MurphysMultiverse website, Marvel Studios is looking for an actress with Latin origins between 15 and 17 years old to act in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.

The publication states that the description is very similar to that of America Chavez, known as Miss America in the comics.

In the comics, America appeared in 2011, and the character was created by her mothers in a Utopian Parallel reality that lives outside space-time and in the presence of a mystical being called Demiurge. When she was younger, she saw her reality being threatened, so her mothers sacrificed themselves in order to save the place. America flees through space-time and the multiverse, takes on the mantle of Miss America and begins to act as a vigilante.

What we already know from the sequence is that Benedict Cumberbatch returns as the title character.

And the film is looking for a new director to take over after Scott Derrickson leaves.

Benedict Wong and Rachel McAdams they must return as well. Elizabeth Olsen is quoted to participate as Wanda.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on May 7, 2021!
