Adorable Women is the newest film adaptation of the book Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott, which has been made into a film and series several times.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, nominated for an Oscar 2018 for the script and direction by Lady Bird, the film features Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scalen as the four protagonist sisters, as well as Laura Dern as the mother of the women and Timothée Chalamet like Laurie, the neighbor who interests girls very much.

The feature had its release on December 25, 2019 in the United States, after a premiere screening at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, on September 7, 2019. With the help of Sony Pictures, the film hits theaters in Brazil on Thursday fair, January 9, 2020.

Set in New England in the 1860s, a family man leaves his wife and four daughters to serve during the American Civil War. With the support of the mother and the union established between the girls, they grow each day in the midst of their transition from adolescence to adult life, with the first loves and confusions entering the scene.

As of today, the 9th, the film can be seen in theaters in Brazil.
