HBO announced today (8) that the seventh and final season of the VEEP series, will arrive in March on the channel.
The comedy that has won many awards since it opened in 2012 tells the story of Selina Meyer (Dreyfus), the Vice President of the United States, who, along with her troubled team of advisers, tries to navigate through the complicated procedures of American politics. Selina and her team go through different and surreal situations to try to leave the positive image of the policy that suffers from many ups and downs. Political maneuvers and complicated elections mark the series that shows the backstage of American politics in a satirical and comical way.
The last episodes of the series have been postponed due to the treatment of Julia-Louis-Dreyfus against cancer. Already recovered, the actress constantly published news about her recovery on social networks.
The series is executive produced by David Mandel and will have 7 episodes for its final year. The information was released during the HBO panel at TCA 2019.
